MISSION STATEMENT

 

It is the mission of LET US MAKE MAN FOUNDATION INC. to facilitate a positive change in distressed communities through programs that offer both theoretical and practical experiences in critical thinking, responsible behavior, self development, economic development and visionary leadership.

​PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The social and emotional development of people and communities depends largely on the unified and dedicated efforts of individuals, families, schools, religious institutions and government. If these factors are not working simultaneously and in unison, the person(s) and community will be compromised. Evidence of poor resource coordination and implementation can been seen within schools where poor test scores, low graduation rates, and high suspension rates are prevalent. Evidence of poor resource coordination and implementation can be seen within communities where no positive social programs, dilapidated building structures, and low business development exists. Evidence of poor resource coordination and implementation can be seen in individuals where negative social and emotional characteristics exist (drug use, teen pregnancy, single parent homes, and alcoholism). Because of community and individual social and emotional ills, a state of survival has been created which has compromised positive social, emotional and moral norms. L.U.M.M. INC. believes in the fact that the roots of all behaviors are set in ideas that gives these behaviors energy and direction. In order to change negative or unproductive behavior, you have to change the thoughts and ideas of the individual(s) and community. The programs provided by L.U.M.M. INC. have been developed and tailored to target the specific causes of individual and community ills and uproot them.
